Classic Victorian home blends timeless elegance and sophistication with modern enhancements
Turquoise strikes again! This time on a renovated house from San Francisco Bay Area, redesigned by Cardea Building Co. team. The place is readapted in a classic Victorian style and gathers lots of turquoise details which stand one next to another to create a wonderful environment that calms you and reminds you of the ocean.
The main advantage of this space is the fact that it is large,so the designers could play with the decor in every room with putting into practice whatever they thought of.They didn’t do everything on their own and kept the owners ideas, so the final result would expresses their personality. After all, a home is a home; our private nest where we belong to.
Some of the details are very sophisticated and they include a Carrera marble and an Ann Sacks tile. The rooms are painted in pastels, a trick that makes every space appear brighter. The main two palettes are created around turquoise and pastel browns, because, we have already seen in other apartments, that these two colors make a great pair. The furniture is chosen by the same classical line, leaving the modernism for the accessories. Here and there, some fine orange details hardly stand out. However, they are very important for the overview of this apartment, where each detail is important and plays a key role in the bigger picture.
