Chair by Omer Arbel Office

The 2.4 Chair by Omer Arbel Office combines resin and steel to create a one-of-a-kind lounge chair. Each chair produced used different color combinations of opaque and transparent layers that were “inspired by color samples selected by each patron.”

When I see this chair I can’t help thinking about haute couture. It’s still fashion but it is made just for the sake of fashion and design , for the few fortunate ones who have the chance to admire it. So this chair is made only for a few people, as it is manufactured in limited edition and is designed for the sheer pleasure of designing furniture. It is made from a combination of resin ans a steel frame that appears like a metallic skeleton meant to support the human body weight without breaking. You can still see the metal inside and each coloured line, but the result is spectacular thanks to this fine visual effect.{found on 3rings}
