Outdoor LED swing

I’m sure you know how anxious kids are to just go outside and play, maybe have some fun in the park or just run around. If you’re living in a house and have a garden or an open space available, this wouldn’t be a problem. You can even set up your own mini-park for your kid. All you need is a swing, maybe a slide and lots of space.

Swedish designer Alexander Lervik has come up with an interesting idea for a swing. It’s a Luminous swing, made of thick ropes, LED light and metal parts. The interesting part is visible during the night when this swing lights up, glowing into the darkness. It could look a little creepy when seen from inside, but I’m sure that for a kid it’s very attractive. It’s actually a good idea to make it glow into the darkness because this prevents your kid from bumping into it and getting hurt and it also gives you the opportunity to clearly see when he’s using the swing. Of course, the main purpose was to make it appealing for kids.

Triton Hurricane for Outdoors

It is summer now and it’s so nice to spend the evenings outside with your family and friends! And , I don’t know why, the light from the garden lamps seems so intense and rude. So I was looking for something smooth and nice, something that I can use for decorating the garden and something that will be affordable, all in one thing. And I found this: the Triton Hurricane which I love. It is a kind of a large metal lantern for the garden or any outdoor location and it is simply beautiful.

Vintage Toscana Bench

Benches are really practical pieces of furniture. They can be used indoors, as a seating space around a coffee table, even at a dining table, or outdoors, in the garden or on the deck or terrace. They can also be used as storage spaces, acting as a shelf on which different objects can be placed. Personally I’m not a fn of benches, I prefer individual chairs or stools. But I admit that benches can be really useful and functional.

The Toscana Bench is a very nice piece of furniture. It’s a wood bench, with a very beautiful antique look. This was obtained using a 14-step process with hand-applied layers, hand distressing and hand burnished edges. It’s not an easy job but the result is quite remarkable. The dimensions of this piece of furniture are 88.5″ wide x 14″ deep x 18″ high. It’s not small but neither too big. It can be used both inside and outside. It’s a very resilient piece but you still have to be careful with it. Be sure to take it inside when it’s raining and try to avoid sun.

The Toscana Bench is a very beautiful piece of furniture. It has an A-frame and a very beautiful antique finish. The overall design is simple but elegant. Also, you can add the bench cushion that is sold separately for 370 euros.

Benchwright Trays

It’s already summer and it’s hot and you certainly enjoy having dinner or breakfast outside, on the porch or in the garden, some place in the open. So it would be very useful to have some wooden trays to help you carry the plates and glasses outside and back inside when dinner is over. I found these amazing -looking Benchright Trays at the Pottery Barn for a very good price and I thought I should share.

As you can see from the picture, these wooden trays come in two sizes, small and large, and they have some very nice and useful handles that will help you carry things from one place to another without dropping them accidentally. The trays are made of distressed mango wood and have some very cool iron braced corners and handles. This makes them more resistant and also able to hold bigger weights. Just make sure you wipe it clean with a soft cloth and avoid leaving it damp and if you like it, purchase the tray for a price between $29.00 – $39.00, depending on size.
