Here is a flexible workplace designed by Dutch designers Kapteinbolt .The furniture features a desk and chair that fold out from two hinged sheets. This design is characterized by simplicity, clarity, freedom and space. Freedom is also a part of this workspace design and they way it is arranged.

At a first look you can’t even what this structure is about. It doesn’t look like anything. It’s just a pile of wood with no definite structure and design. I actually had to read the description before realizing what this was. Then, one you find out what this piece is about, it comes together and it all makes sense. Actually, creating a flexible workspace is not such a bad idea. It allows you to create the design you want and to place it anywhere you want. Although I would really think twice before purchasing this item because it doesn’t look comfortable at all. And as we all know comfort is very important at the workplace.

It’s still a rudimentary piece that hopefully will be improved soon. The idea is very good, they just to pay a little more attention to the details. Overall I like the concept but, like I said, I wouldn’t consider buying it until there will be made some improvements in terms of comfort and functionality.{found on dezeen}

Google Offices in Stockholm

We already have some Google’s offices picture from Zurich, now here are some pictures from the Google office in Stockholm that catches our fancy. Google offices offer a very relaxed and opened area to work in, this Stockholm base is designed by architects from Camenzind, is another feather added to the cap. Each room is designed individually creating a unique workplace.

As it was to be expected, this Google office is also very colorful and fun. It’s the kind of place where working doesn’t feel like an obligation anymore, it’s a pleasure. And with a design like this, it’s no wonder that people love Google. The Stockholm office is very modern, as well as the other offices that Google has all over the world. The distinctive feature is the fact that there are a lot of colors involved in the design.

Also there’s a very playful feeling that you have when looking at these pictures. And since people say that the pictures often look less beautiful and natural than the actual images that are caught on tape, than we can just imagine how fun and interesting this place really is. The only think that is better than using Google from your home is using Google from inside that office.

The High Loft Shelf Wall in Hague

Ontwerpduo– a Dutch designer studio – has fabulously designed a wall in the design of a shelf. The wall is four meters in the total height and the adjustable color accents add the particular flavor of luxury one may desire. The concept is followed even in the living room and the bedroom in accordance. The series of shelves being stacked along the wall make it a perfect utilization for an individual to keep the belongings in a well organized fashion.

The soothing color relating to the respective room makes it the most appropriate wall. The concept of utilizing a wall as a shelf is itself sufficient enough to demonstrate and speak for Ontwerpduo. Combination of light green and white contrasts the silent bed being placed beneath the shelf wall.
