Modern homes tend to be less and less usual and the people living in them want to make them unique by purchasing personalized furniture and very rare or unusual items. Glass coffee tables seem to be really “cool” these days, even if they are a bit more difficult to maintain clean, especially if you have a kid or two around. Well, speaking of kids, it is a bit worrying whether to buy or not such a glass coffee table when you have small children, as you will constantly need to be around them and supervise them for fear they could break the table and cut themselves into it. Simple flower arrangements for decorating your home

If you want to add a festive look to your home or you simply want to make it look warm and nice and you don’t know how to decorate it or what to do, you can use flowers and the effect will be amazing. A very nice looking room will look even better with a perfect flower arrangement on the table. And I am not talking about spending a lot of money for paying the florist for the elaborated flower arrangements. You can do that yourself by trying to make some very simple flower arrangements. Here are a few tips for you.

If you want a special arrangement for Halloween or Thanksgiving you can look for a special bowl or vase that looks like a pumpkin and then try to find many kinds of flowers that have almost the same color – orange. Even if they are different, they will make a very nice arrangement if they have the same color. If you want the arrangement to be a bit more obvious you can add two red roses and the effect will be amazing.

Rustic living room ideas

Nowadays people prefer minimalistic and modern designs inside their homes and decorate them according to their tastes and money, of course. But sometimes, these styles just don’t fit your house and you have to find the perfect style that will both satisfy your view and be comfortable , too. Let’s take the houses situated near the mountains or woods or the little cabins you use only on holiday and, why not, the little towns houses and even the big ranches some of you might have. They simply can’t follow this line of home design fashion. And I think the most appropriate style for them is the rustic one.

The perfect rustic living room involves walls covered with wood and also furniture made of raw wood or at least having this color. It’ s all about comfort and being practical and suggests the old days when living was rough. The perfect cover for the wooden floor is a woolen rug or one that was woven with traditional patterns. Pink living room

I don’t know who invented the rule that all girls should wear pink and all boys blue, but I do not agree. I think they all should wear whatever colours they like, regardless of sex. OK, I admit the only colour I wouldn’t recommend for a boy is pink, but I have no restrictions for the rest. However, lots of girls are simply crazy about pink and they wouldn’t wear any other colour except for pink.

So they become teenagers and they tell their parents they want their bedroom or even the living room painted and decorated only in pink. Even when they grow up and become grown ups they still have some reminiscences and design their living rooms pink. I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing, as long as they have a limit and a balance and do not exaggerate.
