How to Arrange the Furniture in the Livingroom?

People think it’s very easy to arrange the furniture in the house, especially in the living room. But it takes more than spreading the furniture pieces randomly in the living-room to obtain a good impression, a balanced livingroom design that feels welcoming, cosy and nice looking, all at the same time.

The first rule in arranging the furniture in a livingroom is to see where the wall plugs are and to avoid covering them with any furniture. If you do that it will only make things more complicated, as you will not have easy access to the outlet and you will have to use extendable ones and this way you increase the hazard risk. So avoid covering them.

Fiberglass Side Table

We use big tables for the dining room or for the kitchen where we have dinner with our family, but we sometimes need some other types of tables, too, that are smaller and more delicate and are used mainly for decorating the house. The side tables for example are some sort of mini tables that you can use to place a cup of coffee on, to place a vase of flowers, a book or simply to use it as decor.

Minimalist Living Room

There is no such thing as the recipe for designing and arranging the perfect living room, Especially when we are talking about minimalistic living rooms. You can design such a living room by simply using your inspiration, taste and a few tips from us. But what is minimalist design after all? Well, it is defined by the name itself: it is minimalist. That means that you will have only the necessary things in the room, for example the chairs or armchairs, a sofa and a coffee table. The table must be useful, but not big, as you do not dine on it, but only have coffee or some snacks, so a big table might be out of place there.

“Bones brigade” coffee table by Dan McCabe

Dan McCabe is an artist who just loves metal and also loves playing with it until he turns it into real works of art. But sometimes he would rather turn it into useful pieces of furniture that look very well. The “Bones brigade” coffee table is the perfect example of his mastery in steel and bronze. The name is more like a nickname and the artist called the coffee table like that because of its appearance. If you watch the overall design of the table you will notice it looks just like the backbone of a human. Even the inside part resembles the location of the bone marrow and it is represented by a sponge-looking metal network.

San Andreas Coffee Table by Ricardo Garza Marcos

You all know of San Andreas Fault, the place where two tectonic plates meet and collide, one of them constantly going under the other and causing earthquakes. Well, this inspired a very imaginative designer to invent a new original furniture design. This is the San Andreas Table that was designed by Ricardo Garza Marcos. This table look like any other table at first sight. However, if you watch it carefully or try to separate the two halves you will realize the edges of the two halves are irregular, looking like a wooden board broken in two.
