Cole Ottoman from Nurseryworks

Normally ottomans are pretty simple in design and they are just used for decorative purposes or for resting your feet when you watch TV or something similar. Anyway, they are static pieces of furniture and they are usually let where you place them. Well, this Cole Ottoman from Nurseryworks drew my attention because it is different from all the other ottomans I have ever seen. It is indeed nice and useful, but it has a very unusual base that comes between it and the floor. This base is made of bent plywood and this gives the ottoman a totally new look and mobility.

This base also has a shelf incorporated which can be really useful if you sit on the ottoman and want to store something there like a book, a deck of cards, some magazines or other small items. The ottoman has a nice upholstery that is available in many colours and offers a nice pleasant feeling when you touch it thanks to the high quality suede used. Even if this ottoman is supposed to be a piece of furniture meant to be used by kids, I am sure all the adults will love it, too. The item can be purchased for $300.

Stokke Bounce ‘n’ Sleep Daybed

Having a baby was one of the most challenging things I have ever done. They need your undivided attention and, even if they are so small, call all the shots. The baby decides the sleeping hours and the length of a nap, if it is time to buy new furniture and the level of noise you can stand. Any way, when they are little, children only get calmed down if they feel a swinging or bouncing move. i read somewhere that this has to do with the motion they felt when they were inside the uterus and their mothers walked around. The Happy Chairs

I bet your children would love these chairs. So happy and colorful they will always put a smile on the little ones faces and they will find a lot of games to play with these nice pieces of furniture. Designed by Keith Haring, a designer and also an artist inspired himself to do these awesome chairs from the graffiti he used to do, they are very nice. So, they look just like a painting and they’re funny and bring a happy and cozy atmosphere to your kid’s room.

I am a bit nervous these days because my little girl will soon go to school, so now I have to re-arrange her room for her adventure as a school girl. But I want to combine the practical part of this job with the leisure one, so I tried to find just the right furniture for this. Here is one smart piece of furniture I have found: the Art Desk with Chalkboard Top and Chair. This set includes a special desk and a chair for the kids room. All parts are made of wood and they have a durable construction, so they will resist in time.

Children that are 1-2 years old usually seat in special chairs designed just for them. But, even though the chairs were particularly for their safety and comfort, they still refuse them and prefer to sit with their parents at the table.
