A radical idea from the Korean design studio KamKam. The furniture series they have created is fun, colorful, attractive and, most of all, cute. It would be the perfect design for a kid’s room, that is if you are willing to give up this lovely furniture for him.

I have to say, for someone who leaves her clothes all over the room, I could really see myself arranging my t – shirts and pants in this funny cabinets. Just think about this: you could teach your kid to be clean and neat and all you have to do is buy him the right furniture.Not only that it is colorful and fresh, but it is not furniture per se. It’s more like a mix between clothes and furniture, between useful and decorative. With furniture like this in the room, there’s no way you can stay sad more than 10 seconds. But unless you’re willing to buy it, don’t show these pictures to your kid, because there’s going to be trouble.

Robox by Guus Oosterbaan

Kids are spontaneous and inventive. If you spend a whole day with them you have no chance to get bored. Instead they get bored quickly if they lose their interest in something. All the time you have to give them something to do, to keep them occupied.

Guus Oosterbaan thought of these types of dynamic kids and created Robox.Robox is a series of nine storage boxes for kids. They can store their little toys or other things they need. The boxes can be mounted on the wall and look like a beautiful and funny wardrobe.

Steve Kuhl transformed a bedroom into a ultimate pirate adventure.This amazing design feature a unique pirate theme which can be accessed from a hole in the wall,who takes you sliding down a slide to a comfortable pillow in the pirate bedroom.There is a pirate ship high on the ceiling which can be reached through a wooden rope bridge.The ship was carefully created:“We used 2×12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of 1/2 inch plywood to act as the planking. Our genius faux finisher developed a bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated colouring to simulate an old ship’s hull.”{via freshome}

Spacious Kids Bedrooms from Zalf

Kids need an appropriate home environment, specific to their age. Their bedroom should be a nice, comfortable place where they can rest, play and study too. All the design and furniture should be adapted to their needs.

An appropriate bedroom should include all these elements and should be spacious and full of light. Kids should have as much as free space as possible in order to have enough space for their games. Natural light should not be forgotten because it is the healthiest source of light for their eyes.

Toy Boxes from Posh Tots

I love my kids very much but I simply hate the disaster they leave behind after they play with the toys. And I am sure I speak for all the parents with small children. And, of course, we have learned the hard way that they won’t do something unless they enjoy it. So it’s useless to punish them for not gathering their toys in the box or on the shelf because they simply hate it. And they do because it’s something they MUST do and it’s no fun in it. So why don’t we, parents, outsmart them and turn this into a pleasant activity? The easiest way to do this is by purchasing a fun toy box and after that telling your kids they can use the box when playing and it will be fun.
