The “play” children’s furniture collection by jesper k. thomsen

Kids are often more complicated than we anticipate it. They never cease to surprise and there’s always something new to learn about them. Still, they all share something in common and it’s a constant that never changes: they all like to play. This term has become a key-word in a jesper k. thomsen who created a furniture collection designed for kids and which is called simply “play”.

The collection includes a bench, a table, a chair, an easel and a soapbox car. They all share similar features and they all come in the same bright color, a vivid tone of yellow. The collection is designed for older kids that are already involved in school activities and that got past all the child-safe pieces of furniture.

Singing Clock “Farmyard”

If you have been looking for a simple and funny clock for your kid’ s room, you’d better stop looking. I am sure you will find this Singing Clock “Farmyard” just adorable. The case of the clock is made of wood and the inside is perfect for small children who can’t read the time and clock. What is really funny about this clock are not just the pictures of animals displayed instead of the numbers on the clock screen. It’s the funny sounds it makes when it is supposed to tell the time. I mean when it’s five o’clock for example and there’s a dog picture instead of number ten on the display, you will hear a dog barking.

The tiny Bull chair for kids

A bull is definitely not something you would want near your children. But rules don’t apply to this one. “Bull” is a fun piece of furniture that was designed especially for kids. The name doesn’t really do it justice because Bull is not at all scary like the real animal. It’s rather cute and very friendly.

Bull was designed for kids between 3 and 6 years old and it’s basically a tiny chair. It takes its name from the shape of the chair and the big wheel that resembles a bull’s head. To me it looks more like a ram but let’s stick with the original name. The backrest of this chair is a giant spinning wheel and this allows the kids to use it as a basket or a trolley that they can carry around and play with.

Kids are all so cute and they grow up so fast. One day they’re babies and the other that go to school. As a parent it’s hard to realize how fast they grow up until they start to need new things like a desk instead of a playground area and books instead of toys.
