Alphabet Poster

I know it sounds boring and almost a cliche, but kids grow up so fast that you can’t believe your eyes. Or maybe that happens because we, the parents, will always see them small and helpless, no matter how old they are. Any way, kids are very nice and cute when they are about to enter school or have just started it, when they have a glimpse on the world of numbers and letters, of science and books. And when they start reading they are about to discover what lies inside those book covers and the possibility to unveil that by themselves makes them so curious and passionate. So they want to learn the alphabet as soon as possible and keep asking their parents: What letter is this? This is when they want an Alphabet Poster in their room.

Kids Ball Chair

Back in the 1970s Americans had a very popular TV show where the host had an interesting and still modern ball chair. It was even shown in the movies and remained in people’s memories even to the present day. I don’t know about comfort, but it looked awesome. Well, a smaller and cuter version of this chair is now adjusted for kids and it is called Kids Ball Chair. It looks more like an egg that has a wide opening and a solid base that looks almost like a leg.

Pirate room decor for kids

There are a lot of themes to choose from when decorating a room. It’s best to choose something you really like and go from there. However, it’s the first time we see a pirate room. It’s a really interesting choice and, when you think about, it’s not that difficult to create. There are a lot of things that you include in such a décor.

In this, case what’s particularly interesting is that several piece were made by the owners themselves. For example, they made the beds. The room also has faux doors, storage closets, shelves and lots of interesting decorations. There’s a pirate bust in there, some ship models, an anchor and, probably the most interesting of all, a bamboo mat that was painted with the world map.

Playful bed for kids with built-in slide

If we were to make a list of things that kids really like the slide would definitely have to be in it. In fact, adults like slides too but usually they get too big to sue them. Today we’re going to show you one of the most fun kid’s beds you can find. Actually, you would have to build this bed yourself because you won’t find it in stores. But we’ll show you how.

This is the Ikea Kura bed or at least it was until it got transformed into something a little more fun. First, the bed itself got some improvements. For example, the panels were painted with chalkboard paint and the wood frame with semi-gloss white paint. It’s a simple and creative way of spicing up the décor and making it more suitable for children. The bed was then placed on a plywood platform that sits on three Ikea Trofast frames. There’s also additional support provided by 2×6 wood screwed into the wall studs.

Lucy & Michael Play Tent

Everyone loves a bit of adventure, especially kids. So if you want to play with them and find them something interesting to do for a day, you can try making them a tent in the living room or in their room. You can use old bed sheets and chairs and ropes or, even better, you can buy this Lucy&Michael tent for them. This tent is perfect for your kids and is colourful, great in design and easy to use. It covers a surface of 5 square feet and is five feet tall. The tent can be used both indoors and outdoors and is pretty stable thanks to the four wooden sticks that are parts of the frame that keep it standing.

The tent is made of beautifully patterned canvas, so great for kids. I love it, too and I bet many adults would like to stay in that tent for at least a few minutes and play with the kids, imagining they are children again. Classic children bedroom design from Minacciolo

The bedroom is made by the English Mood collections from Minacciolo. The color of the wooden walls, floor and ceiling is like white cream. Because of the color, the place is very warm so it looks and seems so cozy! The room will perfectly go in your house. From my opinion the room is one of the best children rooms I’ve ever seen.

The bed is the perfect hiding place for children. It looks like it is impregnated in the wall and in front you can hide the bed with curtains. The curtains color, white with blue drawings, is spread throw out the room. You can find the combination on the chair on the bed sheets, on the windows curtains and on the wall. The combination of pure blue on the carpet on the floor makes the place a perfectly colored boy room. The dresser doors look like doors to other rooms so it makes the place a little playful for the children.
