The Bromont House is a stylish family residence located in Quebec, Canada. The house was a project by Montreal-based design studio Paul Bernier Architect. It was completed in 2012 and it benefits from a very beautiful location, surrounded by trees and rich vegetation.Given the fact that the site presented such beautiful landscape, the architects tried to create a smooth and seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces so that the connection with nature would be strong. It has panoramic views of the forest and the trees provide shade. The Appalachian Mountains are also visible in the distance from the site but only in winter when the trees lose their leaves.

The Ingenious Gourmet Tea shop

The Gourmet Tea is a tea shop that seems to appear out of nowhere. In reality it’s just hidden behind a series of colorful panels. The idea is very clever and ingenious. It’s a design inspired by the popular food trucks and their way of opening up revealing space you didn’t think existed. This type of flexible design and space was the main inspiration for the shop.

The shop is located in Sao Paolo and it’s a tiny space. Three fourths of the space is occupied by the products. They just pop out of nowhere and they invade the shop. The panels are pulled out or they simply open like doors, revealing lots and lots of storage space, shelves and other elements. The middle area contains the counter space and it opens just like the food trucks. The rest of the panels are pulled out.

Bathroom and Living Room With An Industrial Touch

Until recently I had a preconceived idea about industrial design and in my defense I have to say that industrial design I know wasn’t so refined like the one you see now on each major design firm.To show you the other side of the industrial design I’m going to start presenting this modern bathroom from Detroit. The location and design are connected through a coincidence maybe, but I like to think that this happened for a reason. Detroit has a history with heavy machinery and industry in general, this particular thing influenced the designer to create another version of this story.

One, more refined and with a pleasant, clean look. Although big bolts and large bended pieces of steel aren’t the lightest and fragile decorative elements, the designer managed somehow to put them in another perspective. I like the pedals underneath the sink, a strong reminder that you are in a very important automotive center. The overall idea is interesting and worthy of appreciation. {found on site}.

1. Even though this is a small bedroom, it has been beautifully decorated. We like its cozyness and the way everything fits without making it feel cramped. The modern bed is complemented by vintage-inspired bedding and decorative pillows. It’s been placed in front of the window, leaving enough space for other essentials as well. The bedroom has a rich color palette complemented by various patterns and textures.
