Baby’s Room Design Ideas

When you find out you’re going to have a new baby, selecting the baby room theme is important so that baby’s room is fun and unique. No matter what your style may be, there are designs suitable for baby’s room to make it special. Here are some baby room inspiration ideas you could help . Personally I love the bird boxes theme! You ? I like very much the fact that one of the ideas suggests us to use photos with the family members in the baby’s room.

I think this is great because the baby becomes familiar with their faces even when they are away and also gets the idea that they are all there for a reason, as they are family. Then bunker beds are just great because they allow siblings to share and co-exist which is great.

Decorate Your Home Using Yellow

I love this combination with yellow as it makes the interior vibrant and full of  life. Also the yellow pillow really can  add a lot of color and life to your space on a budget. It might not be the typical color that you really think of when you try to decorate your home but it can really have a high end and designer look that most other people won’t have in their homes. The best thing about this colour is that it can be combined with all the other colours without appearing inappropriate or out of place like in a house decorated by a colour blind person. Si if you want to use yellow in your house, I recommend to use it in combination with with and pale green for a spring decor and even with grey and black.

However, try to avoid very string combinations like yellow-orange or yellow-red because they may look fine but they are a bit tiring , especially for the kids. And again, do consider that too much is too much, so you’d better use yellow in small quantities for a better visual impact.

Turquoise Decorating Ideas

When it comes to home decorating, it is easy to search on the internet for some home interior ideas. A traditional room with traditional furnishings can become just too… traditional. But if you think more on colors that you choose, for example turquoise you can turn it in a awesome room. Turquoise accessories can be a welcome addition to a bathroom, kitchen, kids’ room, master bedroom or even a living room.

This particular shade of blue is actually a delicate combination between blue and just a bit of green. It is the colour of the underwater images. You can see the blue water of the sea and ocean combined with the many underwater plants and the result is close to … turquoise. So if you want to give your house a marine theme go for this colour. It is very peaceful and calm, soothing for the mind and eyes and inspired a quiet day at the beach.

Bedrooms offer the space for relaxation and coziness. Decorating bedrooms with attractive décor accessories and matching bed linen that gels up with the color scheme and theme of the room creates an aura of luxury and elegance. The new collection from Mimou comes with some beautiful pillows that are stuffed with extremely soft materials that render a soft and cozy feel.

You can use these pillows to go one step further with the general theme is your house or bedroom, so it is a good idea to have the same pattern on the pillows and on the wall. Or if this turns out to be a difficult task, you can try and make them complete each other. For example if you have a floral design in the room, choose some funny pillows with vividly coloured butterflies on and they will look natural and real.

6 Decorating Ideas With Capital Letters

As a graphic designer I love typography and I think that it is an interesting and visual idea to decorate a house with capital letters. You can save a lot of money by buying unfinished letters and painting them yourself. In this article I am going to give you some different ideas to decorate your bedroom, living room using capital letters.

It is easy to buy or make letters that you will later use for decorating your house. If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person you can carve them from pieces of wood or cut them in foam or some other hard materials that you can think of. Or get really creative and use dried twigs or flowers, pieces of twisted fabric etc to obtain big sized letters that you can paint in a vivid colour and then use to give a message. You will be delighted to see that your guests will try to figure out the message and wonder what your intention was when you used them. It is a great idea and can be used in many ways.

Modern Space Saving Sofa For Small Spaces

Nowadays many of the newly built homes on the market seem to be built with smaller bedrooms than the older, traditional properties did. And if you need two beds in a bedroom, then its a problem with space. But with the Doc XL  sofa from Clei the space should be a problem. This Doc XL sofa transforms into stylish bunk beds easy.

It’s unusual for a sofa to be extendable and to turn into a comfortable bed for the night. But it’s really uncommon for a sofa to be able to transform into not one but two beds. This is the first time I see something like this and I love the idea. It’s revolutionary piece that will completely change the design of small apartments or houses. In there, space is always a problem and the sofa is usually something that is not optional. The bed is not optional either so you’re stuck with two large pieces and you just have to have in your home.

But with this clever and ingenious design, you can have three pieces in one. During the day it’s just a sofa, a comfortable one by the way. And during the night, in just a few second and little effort, the sofa turns into two comfy beds. It’s a very useful piece in case you have extra guests over night or if you’re just having trouble with the space.
