The Tobaco Hotel is located in Lodz, Poland, in the historic center of the city. It’s surrounded by old factory buildings and houses and it used to be a textile factory itself since 1895. In 1932 it became the National Cigarette Factory which is from where the hotel got its name.
Today the building is a modern hotel and the whole complex has been adapted and modernized. It was a project by EC-5 studio, completed in 2013.The interior of the hotel was designed to reflect influences from the 50s and 60s. The color scheme is based around shades of gray combined with bold tones of blue, violet and green. Yellow also plays an important role in the overall interior décor.
