The chic San Giorgio Mykonos retreat

San Giorgio Mykonos is a wonderful Greek retreat with a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. It’s the second temporary project of Design Hotels and features a very beautiful combination of traditional and modern elements that result in a highly artistic and stylish composition.The resort was originally built in the 1990s when it served as a hotel. It was built by a local fisherman and was then bought by the Paradise Club. It used to be visited by famous DJs such as Moby, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and Bob Sinclar.

Recently the resort got a major makeover. It was a project by Design Hotels and, at the end, San Giorgio Mykonos was ready to receive guests again. The retreat now features a very chic style. It has been decorated with neutral colors and it has a very relaxed and calm atmosphere.

The Luxurious D-Hotel Maris in Turkey

D-Hotel Maris is a wonderful holiday destination for anyone who seeks privacy and luxury. The hotel is located in Turkey and features a very beautiful combination of modern and minimalist elements. It has been opened in April 2012 and it quickly became one of the most appreciated hotels in Europe. The hotel benefits from a wonderful location. It’s situated in a reservation area in the Datca Peninsula, high up on the hills from where it offers breathtaking views of the landscape.

Unbelievable Clock Tower Hotel Room

Sometimes a train journey can prove to be safer, more interesting and a nice way of meeting new people. If you choose to travel by train you will discover the beauty of some places which until then you have not noticed them, travelling by car or the specific atmosphere that a train station creates with all the hurried people that wait for their train and the announcements that are made all the time which inform people of the arrivals or departures that happen.

If you want to experience more of this atmosphere and enjoy an interesting night you can become interested into this unbelievable clock tower hotel room, situated above the ground at 75 feet, in Ghent, Belgium. The Japanese artist, Tazu Rous tried to bring a tribute to the people who live here and to this place by creating this temporary hotel room. The focal point of the room is the huge clock which is made by stone and keeps its old historic design.

The Spectacular Six Senses Zighy Bay Resort

The Six Senses Zighy Bay is a unique resort and a luxury destination for all those who seek an exotic experience with unique culinary experiences. The resort is a very attractive destination because of its location and wonderful views but also because of other more terrestrial attractions such as the delicious food prepared by James Knight-Pacheco. He is the new Chef de Cuisine at the resort and responsible for the restaurants.

In order to create diversity, the chef decided to introduce a new menu concept based on international recipes and with rich Arabic spices coming directly from the resort’s organic garden. The guests will be able to choose from three or five courses with fine elements prepared by the chef and his team. As he declares himself, his food is “inventive, progressive and intelligent; combining customer desire with industry knowledge”. Of course, you have to go there by yourself in order to judge whether or not it’s as good as others say.

The Wood Finishes Fasano Boa Vista Hotel

Fasano Boa Vista is the latest creation coming as a result of the collaboration between Architect Isay Weinfeld, and restauranteur/hotelier Rogerio Fasano. They’ve also collaborated in order to create the Fasano Las Piedras hotel. You can read all about it on our site. This time we’re going to focus on the latest addition to the Fasano hotel chain.

The Fasano Boa Vista hotel is located in Sao Paulo. It’s an impressive destination that stretches on more than 100 acres of native forest. It includes 15 lakes, stunning groves, am Arnold Palmer golf course and amazingly beautiful gardens. Despite its contemporary appearance, this unique hotel integrates beautifully into the surroundings. The hotel itself is a two-level building with a very interesting design. The building is shaped like a half moon. The public areas such as the lobby, the restaurant, the bar and lounge areas are all located in the middle. The suites are situated on the outer curves of the buildings, from where they can benefit from amazing views over the surrounding landscape.

Eclectic Francis Hotel in Bath, England

The Francis Hotel is located in the center of Bath, in England. It’s a Regency townhouse hotel with an eclectic design. The interior is very beautiful but also difficult to integrate in a particular style. It’s because the hotel combines contemporary pieces with antique elements that remind us of an era no longer existent.

Situated on the south side of the classical Queen Square, the Francis Hotel is a beautiful landmark in the area. If was originally built somewhere between 1728 and 1735 by architect and town planner John Wood the Elder, also known for many beautiful buildings in Bath.The architect’s vision for Queen Square was very simple but also complex. He designed the south side as a series of nine private townhouses.They were united by a single façade and thus formed a uniform structure even though they were clearly separated. Only seven of them managed to be salvaged and they were restored to their original beauty, forming the Francis Hotel.
