If you like boiled eggs in a certain way then you know that it is a bit hard to get mild or soft boiled eggs and medium boiled ones, as it is very easy to let the egg one more minute on the cooker and it will turn hard in no time. Or , if you want to have it mildly boiled you risk taking it out too soon and then you will have to throw it away. You might say that the rule is to boil the egg for three minutes if you want it perfect – something between soft and medium. Well, allow me to disagree, as three minutes on a really hot cooker is a lot different when the fire is minimum, plus we must also take into consideration such factors like the quantity of water, the number of eggs and even the altitude.
