Practical DIY Mason Storage by Liz Marie

It is said that a woman spends more time in a bathroom than a man. This is true if you take into consideration that a woman is very preoccupied with her exterior aspect and pays attention to every detail of it. You may also think of the fact that a woman wears more accessories than a man; she pays attention to the way her hair is arranged and takes care of her make up too. Men seem to be less concerned about all these items and have only a few accessories that need to take care of.

The idea is that bathroom still remains a place where women take care of their look and here they should to find everything they need for this purpose. So a woman’s bathroom needs to be very organized and everything should have a precise storage place.

Awesome Yellow Drip Planter

Decorative plants allways have been our connection with the wild nature. They have their special place in our hearts and also our homes.Preserving them green and alive was allways tricky.Providing the right temperature , watering them some by spraying it on the leaves or pouring it at the roots and what do you do when you have a variety of plants with a variety of need.

Oh, and not to mention the ceramic planters. They don’t  fit anywhere. This is a perfect  example  of adapting an object to match your interior setting. A brown  ordinary planter was transformed in an actually design element. The original idea was to be painted in yellow but half way through. The drips were a “happy accident”as the author of this object said.He went out to take some fresh air  after sniffing up some chemicals from the paint and this is what he found when stepping in.A great project I would say and  a great color also matching a yellow Eames rocker chair.

Beautiful DIY Burlap and Doily Luminaries

Today, 1st of December is the National Day of Romania and I cannot think of all the traditional things for which Romanians are famous for. All sorts of embroideries, doilies, the national handmade costumes and other crafty items are just some examples in order to make an idea of how many beautiful things Romanians can do and be appreciated for.

As I am Romanian too, I have also learned from my mother and grandmother some crafty things like creating a nice table cloth using the needle, knitting a pullover or making some beautiful doilies using a crochet.
