Mobile Dining By Nabuhiro Teshima

Space is now becoming one of the common problems in every household especially for those who are living in small spaces in the city. The Japanese designer Nobuhiro Teshima imagined the table without a chair, preferring the Japanese tradition to eat sitting on the ground.

That is why the table legs are very small in dimensions, as they do not have to be taller if they won’t need to let a chair behind the table. Any way, the Mobile table is amazing because it is folded and stays inside the lower shelf of a small cabinet, being stored there safely in a very small space until you need it. If you have many friends coming to visit some time or just a family reunion for the holidays, then it’s time to show it off and take it out from its storing place.

Just pull the front part and a kind of spring will help you pull the whole table out. It’s very easy to install and it offers enough space for the whole family. When you have finished, just push it back in and it will fold in. Perfect for small apartments.

Ideas for Teen Rooms with Small Space

Decorating small spaces and succeeding in doing it means to be really creative and to have great practical  ideas. Ideas as we all know, rule the word. In addition, necessity is the mother of all creation. Your ingenuity is a veritable and inevitable catalyst, on which your success with designing that small space of yours largely depends on. Here is a set of space saving furniture for teen rooms from Italian maker Clei.

The summary is not to purchase oversized furniture but not very small either – just the perfect size for the owner of the room, but the trick is to arrange it so as to be practical and save space. That is why it is highly recommended for these rooms to have the storage place high on the walls in order to offer more space on the floor. So go for the suspended shelves where you can store just about everything with a little creativity.

Then try to hide the furniture that you do not need during the day – like the bed. Teen will love hiding their bed under the wardrobe for example, so arrange a special place for this. Well, you will find out more by following the link and get inspiration from the best.

Coser House By Architect Marcio Kogan

Here is a Brazilian architect,  Marcio Kogan who has revealed a project named Coser House. Enclosed in the boxed ground floor, the living room sits in a central position in the home, accompanied by wide windows that open the living room to external space. Marcio Kogan gave a sensation of coziness in Coser House,  accentuated by the texture of the concrete ceiling made with a narrow wooden framework. In this way, a desired horizontal proportion for this project is created.{via gradientmagazine }

I am not an expert , but I have eyes to see and I live in a house, so I can tell when something looks really great and my opinion is that this house does. It is large, so the architect and the interior designer had the possibility to play with shape and colours and angles and all the details that need to be considered when you want to obtain a beautiful house in the end. But, in spite of being made of concrete and all the other modern materials, this house is continuously connected to the natural environment surrounding it and it is open to nature. The living room area gets directly in the garden and the trees are surrounded by the luxury tiles. The area around the house is covered with wooden flooring and the transition to the natural surroundings is pleasant this way. Modern furniture sits next to natural trees and everything is perfectly fit, giving the Cosy atmosphere intended by the designer.

Fluffizoo by Studio Vertijet

If you are looking to buy a comfortable and funny chair for your children`s room, take a look at Fluffizoo animals. Fuffizoo’s characters were designed by Studio Vertijet‘s duo Kirsten Hoppert, who is with an interior design background and Steffen Kroll, a product and industrial design expertise. They founded Studio Vertijet in the year 2ooo. These animals are actually a combination between toys and furniture for your kids. They are shaped like animals but are functioning like some kind of rocking chairs. The kids feel free to “ride” the animals back and play in their room. The animals are not shaped very distinctively and do not have details, so they stimulate the children’ s imagination and they can improvise and imagine they are riding dragons or create their own fantastic animals. These Fluffizoo animals are made of a special foam that is very comfortable for the kids and does not hurt them when jumping and riding the rocking chairs. They can be used as furniture or toys and even as decorative objects and they can be easily stored when you do not need them.{via atelier29}

ToiletSpirit Trompe l’oeil Wallpaper and Toilet Rod

French company Koziel introduces a wallpaper meant to grace your bathroom’s walls while also playfully hiding the real matching real toilet paper dispensers. What do you think about this latest wallpaper design ?  I personally believe that any kind of humour is good for your health and if there are some crazy French who thought it would be funny to have a special wallpaper for the bathroom, so be it. The point is that this wallpaper is not just any kind of wallpaper, but its intention is to “trompe l’oeil” , meaning to trick the eye. The design of the wallpaper is meant to show many toilet paper rools, this way allowing you to hide the real one in plain sight. No more camouflage needed. The only problem might be the instructions you will have to give your guests before they go to the bathroom in order to avoid the unpleasant situation when they can’t find what they need.

Laetitia Henry apartment design

Graduate from a school of applied arts, Laetitia Henry has worked for more than six years in office interior design on many projects for the rehabilitation, renovation, restructuring and yards.  After an internship offered by the Dragon Félicie, she felt the need to combine its expertise in decorating, staging, the taste for detail and the revelation of the soul of a place and create emotion and well-being. In an apartment of 75m ², she created a spacious universe by subtle decoration and design.

The whole apartment is decorated with style and you can see the trace of a feminine touch everywhere. The interior of the apartment is colourful, each room having one warm predominant colour and also a lot of decorative objects that are carefully chosen and perfectly matching the general style of the room. All the furniture is simple and comfortable and the combination of colours, materials and decorations makes a great overall visual effect. Great job!

Ribbon Staircase by HSH architects

Ribbon Staircase is a beautiful staircase created by the studio of Czech architecture HSH architects. It is fully designed from a 10mm sheet of steel folded and lacquered. Simple and minimalist, it will undoubtedly agree with your house.

As all of us have figured it out by now, the name of the design project comes from its resemblance with a ribbon we use for our clothes more often than for interior design. But in this case we are not talking about a fabric ribbon, but about a ribbon made of stainless steel that has been cut and then shaped so as to look like a giant ribbon that can also be used as a very special staircase. It is thick enough to support the body weight of whoever dares to step on it and climb upstairs and also offers a pretty unusual, but nice design.But somehow, I don’t know why, I would use it more like a decorative object than a functional staircase.
