There are all sorts of criteria that we use to catalogue all the impressive buildings and projects throughout the world. This time we’ve decided that a top with 10 Of The Most Expensive Buildings In The World would be an interesting topic so we’ve gathered information and this is what we came up with:

1. The Marina Bay Sands Resort.

The Marina Bay Sands is a resort located in Singapore. It was developed by Las Vegas Sands and it’s the world’s most expensive standalone casino property. The cost of the whole project was $8 billion. The resort includes, besides the casino, a hotel with 2,561 rooms, 1,300,000-square-foot convention and exhibition center, an 800,000-square foot mall, a museum, two theatres, 7 celebrity chef restaurants, an ice-skating ring and, of course, the world’s largest atrium casino that has 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines.

In fact, it became more and more important and interior designers have made it the star of their projects.

But a beautiful staircase is defined by several aspects. The design is, of course, very important. But, most often, it’s the handrail that makes it stand out. When describing the dream home, we each have in mind our own ideas and designs. We are all unique and different and this is why each person envisions a space differently. Some people like to keep things simple and classical while others prefer a more adventurous solution. This has sometimes resulted in the creation of some very unusual and intriguing homes. Here are just a few examples:

The World’s Skinniest House.

We’re going to start with the world’s slimmest home. Known as the Keret House, this space is used as artist’s residence. The artist lives here a few days a week and, given the size and structure of this space, it can’t really be considered a full-time residence. The architect that designed the space has been working at this project for three years and finds it very interesting. He was inspired by the work of Israeli writer Etgar Keret, who writes extremely short stories.

Having a walk-in closet in your home is a huge advantage. The walk-in closet provides you with lots and lots of storage space for cloths and also for other objects. But this type of closet also comes with other characteristics that can require lots of prep time and energy. For example, you have to decide how you want to organize your walk-in closet.Depending on your needs and preferences, there are lots of options to explore.

It’s not uncommon for old buildings to be converted into something else. Often, commercial spaces gets transformed into beautiful private residences and become lofts but it’s also possible for other types of buildings to be converted. For example, there are numerous examples of water cleaning stations or even churches that have become amazing homes. We’ve selected a few examples to support this idea.

Water Cleaning Station Conversion on the French Riviera.

We’re going to start with this amazing loft-like residence located in the small coastal town of Villefranche sur Mer on the French Riviera. The building looks like a lovely family home now but it didn’t always use to be the case. Originally, this was a water cleaning station that was built in 1910. It’s a building with a long and rich history and lots of stories to tell.
