You can rarely find an apartment or loft with a perfect layout yet this one worth taking a look at. Situated in the heart of the Red Mountains region in Stockholm, this attic loft features an array of spacious rooms with exquisite designs. The décor and the atmosphere in here are very light and open. The layout is very harmonious, combining open living areas and serene private spaces.

When you have a clear image in mind of how you want your home to look like and what it should include you can find your way around obstacles such as the lack of space. There’s no better example we could give you here than this tiny space.
This used to be nothing more but an empty room in the center of Paris. It had no electricity and it was too small to become anything. That was its status when its current owners found it: two violinists who love a challenge.
There are beautiful apartments all over the globe but today we’re visiting Ukraine where we found this wonderful place. It’s an apartment which was decorated by SVOYA Studio and which is located in Dnepropetrovsk. It’s spacious and very elegant.
The Regency era saw the creation of elegant Regency Terraces throughout the UK. Their commanding presence reinforced their status as homes for the upper classes. Sadly many of these architectural gems are today in an ill state of repair.
One such building, a popular roaring 1920s seafront hotel in the coastal town of Worthing, had been left abandoned and unused for almost a decade. A two-year restoration of the Regency-era Mayfield House into 11 luxury apartments has been completed by building and renovation company The Pure Group.Mayfield House opened it’s show house at the weekend and now you too can open the door to reveal the treasures within.
We’ve told lots of stories where things like water towers, barns or factories became apartments or residence but we never came across an apartment which was once a bank. Today that changes. We found this great place in Helsinki, Finland. The building used to be a bank. It then became an insurance company and later it was transformed into Apartment Bulevardi 1. The project was developed by Saukkonen+Partners.
There are many challenges during the project. The biggest of them all was removing the think steel door to the bank vault. It had to be cut into small pieces. The former vault is now a library.
The apartment measures a total of 2,368 square feet (220 square meters). It only has one bedroom and one bathroom. Following Scandinavian tradition, the architects designed the bathroom with a sauna. In addition to the area already described, the apartment also has a functional kitchen, a large living room also a smoking room with strong ventilation.
In Singapore, there is a gorgeous contemporary apartment called the Geranium Apartment. Dialing in at about 1,000 square feet, the apartment isn’t huge compared to some, but its design makes the space feel and look much larger than that.
The apartment’s main living area is lucky enough to have lots of natural light – floor-to-ceiling windows, in fact. This natural light plays a key role in opening up the entire apartment and providing a spacious feeling throughout.
Proving that a space needn’t have electrical wires or ducts hanging from the ceiling to be an expose on exposed industrial style, a 250 square meter apartment in Kiev (known as the “16th” Apartment) maintains a clean, contemporary style while inserting plenty of personality and a bit of industrial rawness around the edges.
