Casa las Palmas in Medellín, Colombia

Designed by Carlos Eduardo Molina Londoño Architect , the Casa las Palmas is situated in Medellín, Colombia and offers beautiful views of the mountains of Antioquia.On the exterior of the house the designer choose to use wood blinds which cover the windows of the baths, steel girders, and glass in sight creating a contemporary look. The glass staircase from inside made a relation with the next level where are bedrooms and the outdoor terrace that offers landscape views.

It’s a very beautiful house with an interesting and impressive modern design. Like all modern houses, it has a non-conventional structure, but this is only meant to make it more functional and a little more special in terms of look too. The interior décor is simple, elegant and stylish. I particularly like the glass staircase. It gives a modern look to this place. Glass staircases are more and more popular as people realize they can be very beautiful an equally safe, just like the wood ones or the ones made from other durable and sustainable materials.

The living room is quite interesting as well. Another glass piece can be found in there, and this time it’s the coffee table. Coffee tables are usually a decorative piece. So there are a lot of different designs when it comes to this furniture piece. People are no longer satisfied with a simple and plain design so they want more. Usually the most common choice is wood but there are also a lot of glass coffee table that seems to be very appreciated.  So overall it’s an impressive and beautiful place, with lots of interesting details.{found on archdaily}
