Casa La Siesta, a luxury boutique hotel in Spain
Casa La Siesta is a luxury boutique hotel located in Spain, just minutes from historic Vejer de la Frontera, Andalucia. The hotel is owned by Lee and Amelia Thornley who conducted several restoration projects and they have been very careful to use only reclaimed architectural materials. All the original features have been preserved. The hotel also utilizes sustainable energy technology.
The hotel is luxury small retreat and it only has seven bedrooms to offer. However, these bedrooms allow spectacular views of the surroundings and because of their small number, the hotel presents a warm and more loving atmosphere. Each room has its own private terrace, air conditioning and under floor heating. You can choose from Emperor King sized beds that are made up with fine Egyptian cotton. You can expect to be treated as a king or queen yourself.
The hotel also has a kitchen garden that offers fresh produce to the hotel’s restaurant. “Favorite spots” can be chosen for breakfast and ‘help yourself’ fruit and refreshments are included and always available. For dinner, you can choose from the hotel’s wide selection of wines from Spain’s small independent producers. And if you prefer some other location for dinner, the hotel also offers a free shuttle service into nearby Vejer. This way the guests are free and even invited to explore and experience other local dining options.
