Bright apartment in Milan with a surprising interior décor

This is an apartment that measures 80 square meters. At a first glance it’s obvious that there are some Scandinavian influences in the interior décor. Till, it’s also very simple and this reminds a little of the Japanese interiors. What’s even more surprising is the fact that this apartment is located in Italy, more exactly in Milan.

This is another example that shows us location doesn’t matter, that you can recreate your favorite décor regardless of your location and the local traditions and influences. The apartment is rather simple, minimalistic even. The walls have been painted white and the floors are covered wooden parquet, except for the kitchen and dining room area.

The living room looks more like a bedroom to me. It has a nice and colorful sofa which seems very comfortable but in rest there’s that striped rug, those ottomans or poufs and those hanging lamps that make everything look so casual and relaxing.

The Scandinavian influence is very easy to observe. It’s in everything, from the colors of the furniture to the little decorations like those colorful pillows or the paintings on the wall. It’s difficult to say which style is more representative in this case. It’s definitely very inviting and cozy but it’s also very simple and modern. It’s safe to say that this apartment has an eclectic style.{found on elle}
