Bright and open duplex with a terrace and a simple décor

Duplexes in general have this sense of openness simply because the rooms and all the internal space is more functionally divided and the spaces are organized according to use. When you don’t have everything in one place the sensation is different even though, in essence, it’s the same thing. This duplex, for example, is not particularly large but the distribution of the rooms along with the simplicity of the interior décor makes it look very airy, open and bright.

The main color used for the interior décor is white, a neutral and cold color but a perfect background shade for a minimalist and airy décor such as this one. The white walls, the white ceiling and all the other white features makes everything else stand out even though, in other circumstances, they would have been just plain and simple. The wooden floors add warmth to the space and counterbalance the coldness of the white walls.

The top floor of the duplex is a lounge area. Here, the atmosphere is even more warm and inviting thanks to the fireplace. This space features round windows and has direct access to a spacious terrace. It’s a very interesting mix. The décor is casual and simple, with a white sofa, a coffee table and a series of lounge chairs and ottomans. The other level of the duplex includes all the other rooms such as the kitchen, dining area and the bedrooms.{found on Fantastic Frank}.
