Beautiful lake house designed by Robert Young Architects

This charming lake house is located in Montauk, New York. It was a project developed by Robert Young Architects. The residence was designed for a growing family and their close friends, as a place where they could all get away, relax and spend some time together. It’s a sort of cozy retreat located by the lake. The property includes a 4,500 square-foot main house, a 50 foot lap pool, a guest house measuring 1800 square feet and a barn. The guest house includes three bedrooms.

A series of smaller, informal living spaces has been created in order to provide multiple spaces for different experiences and views. Each of the structures present on the property has in center a great room that’s opened to the northern water views and the southern sun and breezes. All the structures present on the property feature modern architecture and designs with cedar shingles and white-painted wood.

They also have large windows and large amounts of glass in their designs. They have similar structures featuring painted pine board walls, exposed structural trusses, gray-painted pine floors and driftwood-clad storage elements.

The location of the lake house is very beautiful and convenient. All the structures benefit from beautiful views over the lake and over the surrounding landscape. Moreover, the main house, guest house and all the other structures have beautiful designs and lovely interiors. They are all very inviting and cozy, perfect for relaxation and spending some quality time away from home.
