ASH House- where modernity meets practicality

Simplicity and refinement seem to be the key words for any modern house nowadays. The idea is to create contemporary buildings using a simple design but where elegance and refinement cannot be absent, comfort and practicality add more relaxation and usefulness.ASH House is such a modern building located in Hokkaido, Japan. Its conic shape made it the perfect house for an area where snow is present most of the time.

So it got a 60 degree steep slope roof which has also generated a spacious and comfortable interior .I.R.A. or the International Royal Architecture represents the team of architects who worked at this project and managed to find the most successful choices for a modern and practical building which was adapted to the harsh conditions of the surrounding area.

Each of its interiors is spacious, elegant and has a modern design. The floors look glossy, the spot lights are used almost everywhere and the contrastive nuances used add more refinement and elegance. The white walls are contrasted by dark wood pieces of furniture, like in the kitchen.

Upstairs the white walls are contrasted by the dark wood parquets and ceilings. Here the dark wood ladders remind you of the attics of the country side houses where you were curious to discover all sorts of mysterious things! As its name is related to “ash”, the grey nuance used for exteriors and the modern conic shape are the only elements which can explain this name. It looks like a modern recipient where you can deposit ash.
