Ameda Solid Wood Stool by Benno Vinatzer

Today we would like to present you one of the oldest forms of wooden furniture. The Ameda wood stool is a nice looking piece that could fit into your home. In the past this was the kind of chair that indicated social status. In the medieval Europe the stools were used mostly by the ordinary people, but in Africa the stool represented the “office” of a tribal chief.

Designed by Benno Vinatzer, this lovely stool is made out of cedar wood that can be used on every side. This item is entirely made of solid scented cedar wood. Any cracks or splits, before or after sale, are absolutely normal, being typical features of the solid wood that, as it ages and becomes seasoned, moves according to the different conditions of the setting and humidity of the air. Furthermore the Ameda stool can be used for seating, as a stand, to put your legs on when sitting in an armchair or you can step on it to reach some things on a high place.
