A renovated farmhouse like no other

Changes and renovations turn old places into new ones, maintaining a part of the former construcion and obtaining a new vision and new space. The renovated farmhouse in the picture has wider spaces, but not only: it has a spectacular garden, a pool and most of all, anyone can enjoy plenty of ligh. Everything invites you to stay, have rest and enjoy life in this Catalan charming cottage.

The decorative aspect is characterized by the simplicity of the rustic style; everything is centered around the arch of the roof and masonry walls that the architect Jorge Moser designed in this place, which is only 5 minutes away of the beach. He guarded the essence of maintaining the structure, restored the beams and through the wide windows and doors that lead towards the garden, he gained light and more space at the same time; he created a better visual connection with the outside.

The walls are painted in pale vanilla and the typical terracotta paving provides both noblesse and identity. The decoration is based on the combination of wooden furniture, neutral fabrics and aged textures that dominate all the ambients. Some of the corners have handmade accessories that give authenticity to every room, while the common areas create an atmosphere of quiet and well-being, thanks to the lack of intense colors and superfluous complements, but also to the special light reflected by the walls and the warmth of the rugs and terracotta tiles.

The kitchen has a similar sheme including wood and terracotta, but there is also a change, the blue of the walls, which breaks the chromatic unity and adds freshness. The bedroom is calm and nothing compares to the family photos that decorate it and the bathroom is in perfect accordance with its retro design.{found on micasarevista}.
