Brilliant designers think differently!  Katrine Martensen-Larsen decided to experiment with the combination of a modern kitchen and antique décor elements including furniture and boy, the idea clicked.

There is always a different pleasure in viewing things that offer a balanced mix of the contemporary styling and retro ambience and this modern kitchen offers that delight. This kitchen has all the modern amenities which can make a life easy but it is the combination of the new and the antique which makes it look all the more special.

The kitchen is first of all the place where meals are cooked. And considering that, it’s natural to try to make it more appealing, more fun and pleasant to look at. People spend a lot of time in there so it should be a comfortable place to be in. Here are some ideas of how you can do that.

Maybe not everybody would like to have a car in the kitchen, but this is just en example, you can always change the idea and replace it with something else. So take a look at the pictures and decide if this is the style for you. Maybe you’ll want something more modern and functional, but at least you can steal some ideas from here are turn them into your own design for the kitchen.
