Add some pop and pizzazz to subdued curtains! Trim your window treatment with a bit of ribbon to add color and personality. As soon as you add the ribbon, the curtains instantly become more stylish and playful!

For some reason, even if you’re not a crafter, lots of people have some type of collection of ribbons. Clothespin clips can be used for so many things. Instead of leaving them boring and brown, cover them with pretty ribbon to art some style!

4. Ribbon lined pillows.

I love adding little personal touches to pillows. It’s so fun to buy solid colored ones at the local store and come home and decorate them. And using ribbon to add design or just a trim is a great way to create something dull into something with a fashionable appeal.

5. Ribbon rimmed lamp shades.

This is incredibly easy and incredibly cute! Just grab the right size piece of ribbon and line the rims of your lamp shade. Do one or both .. it doesn’t matter. It’s instant style!

Whether used as tie backs or as tie hooks, ribbon on curtain just work! It’s a dainty way to let them hang and an easy way to add a pop of color in the mix.
