More 6 Easy Thanksgiving DIYs

It’s time to decorate for one of America’s most important holiday: Thanksgiving! Turkeys, leaves, straw, cornucopias. It’s time to sprinkle the house will all things reminiscent of the “first Thanksgiving,” so we appreciate, remember and remind ourselves of what that day means. So, here’s a great batch of DIY ideas to get your imagination going and fingers crafting.

1. Thank you mantles.

Decorate your mantles with this truly simple DIY project. Glass bottles, wheat straw (real or fake) and some letter decals or paint is all you need! It’s simple, it’s sweet and an elegant way to decorate for Thanksgiving! Mix up the colors of the bottles, use light browns, greens and even some crisp orange! I would even add some cranberry bottles to really brighten up the mantle and keep with the beautiful fall colors.{found on choosetothrive}.

Gather the family at a table that’s truly been blessed with a Thanksgiving style. The burlap fabric adds more emphasis to the fall style. Then you can make your own stencil using your computer. Then trace and use fabric paint to create your Thanksgiving phrase. You may even want to personalize it a little with the family name!

3. Sparkly thank you banner.

You can decorate with thanks you’s in a smaller way as well. Create a beautiful banner! Hang it over the mantle, in the kitchen or somewhere in the dining room! Use as much glitter as you’d like to make the banner pop and create whatever phrase you’d like. Banners are a great way to keep seasonal and give a nod to the holiday.

4. Thanksgiving napkins.

Class up the dinner table with these beautiful linen napkins. Dressed in fall colors, these DIY napkins are perfect to treat your family and give a little extra personality to your table setting. Hopefully, your great with a sewing machine because that’s all you need to out line these scrap pieces of neutral linens with bold autumn colors.

Welcome your guests (especially the ones coming to dinner) with a wreath that’s quintessentially Thanksgiving! Using corn cobs and keeping the natural husks, you can create something organic, beautiful and perfect for harvest time! If you go with Indian corn cobs you’ll get more color and variety too!

6. Thankful napkin rings.

Add even more pizazz to the dinner table with some personalized napkin rings. Complete with leafy name tags and fun, printed holders, you can have fun creating each napkin ring to fit the personality of every dinner guest.
