July 4th is right here and it’s no time to start decorating the doorways, the kitchen, the banister and the porch with all things red, white and blue! You’ll need a wreath, a banner, some stars and maybe even some glitter to get this decor done right. Allow us to provide you with some quick and easy ideas and inspiration while you get to moving o your July 4th decorating!
1. Flags are a must.
What’s July 4th without the most patriotic symbol of all? It’s an absolute must to have a flag somewhere in or outside your own. Small or large, tucked inside a shadow box or flying high, a great U.S. home needs the symbol of our country and freedom, especially on Independence Day!
2. A wreath is a must.
You’ve got to welcome your guests with a beautiful, American wreath hanging on the front and back doors. If you’re hosting the backyard BBQ, this will be the first impression and the first piece of July 4th decor your neighbors will see. So, make it great! You can buy one of course, but there are plenty of awesome DIYs to try out as well. Make it a family project!
3. Centerpieces are a must.
Your centerpiece should have a bit of July 4th flair as well. Whether they’re adorning the breakfast bar, kitchen table or they’re waiting in the dining room, some bottles and carnations, topped with a patriotic bow will do just the trick. Of course you can get even more creative and bigger with the theme too.
4. Some banister style is a must.
Bows, banners and garland will do just the trick. But there is something perfectly patriotic about adorning your banisters and porches with fun and festive ribbons, stripes, polka-dots and stars all of the USA trio of colors. This is such an easy way to decorate, the whole family can help out and it provides instant gratification!
5. Table decor is a must.
Whether it’s a few Chinese lanterns, foldable fans, pom-poms or handmade garland, you’ll need a little something-something to spruce up the buffet table or dessert bar! Even if it’s just a simple backdrop, it’ll help bring the theme full-circle and make everything seem that must more festive.
