4 Ways To Create A Less Chaotic Baking Pantry

Spending time in the kitchen can be relaxing, fun and a great place to make some memories with the family, especially when it comes to baking. And what’s better than the smell of freshly baked cookies in the oven? I don’t know about you but I love spending time in the kitchen and that goes double for the holidays. Decorating Christmas cookies and baking some sweets for neighbors and family members. It’s a fun time to try out new recipes and indulge a bit. But, if you can’t find your baking essentials and your pantry is in chaos, how do you enjoy the time spent? It’s easy. All you need to do is get organized and we’ve got all the right ways to do it. So let’s take a look at all the different ways to organize your baking supplies so you can start making some delicious treats!

1. Get rid of the ripping bags.

The very first thing you need to do is get rid of your flour and sugar bags. Instead, place these essentials inside glass jars. Label them so you don’t have to guess which is which too. Using the glass containers will keep the dust off the counters and from spilling everywhere inside the cupboards. Try using chalkboard labels so you can change up the names if you need too, but using a classic label maker works fine too (although, it’s not as stylish!).

2. Separate all the sprinkles.

Sprinkles can bejust as messy as all that flour and sugar. So, using the original containers or some plastic containers is a fine idea. But, we’d go a step farther than that. We’d go as far as to color coordinate these little sugary decorating bits so they’re easier to find and more fun to look at. Too many times people have sprinkles in every cabinet and in every corner and they can never find what they need. So, instead they buy and buy without realizing how many pink sprinkles they already have in the cupboard. Gather them all together and make a spot just for them.

3. Confine your cupcaker liners.

My favorite baking necessity? Cupcakes liners of course! They come in so many different colors, patterns and even shapes now. So obviously, if your a baking novice or ones who bakes extravagant treats all year long, you have too many to count. So, they need to be confined to you can find them! I personally use a large glass jar to show my collection off and keep them in one place but you can use smaller containers too so they’re easy to find and hide in the cupboards.

4. Be creative.

Take a look at this example … everything is nice, neat and tidy … but it look fantastically stylish. The adorable labels are a great touch that tops off the entire pantry. The cookies cutters are in see-through containers and not falling all over the place. You can see which sprinkles to grab in a hurry and find your icing in two snaps.
